About Megan
I have been teaching sailing on and off for 30 years. I received training through US Sailing and through Purdue's Sailing Club. I have instructed for the youth sailing camp with the Clear Lake Yacht Club for over 10 years. In addition to teaching, I race competitively both at Clear Lake and elsewhere and have competed as both captain and crew in many national level sailing regattas.

Individual Lessons
My sailing lessons cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced. I am a US Sailing-trained Instructor with decades of leisure and race sailing experience. I prioritize safety and personalized instruction on my lessons, but I promise we can still have fun.
Group Lessons
Looking to learn to sail or improve your sailing skills, but don't want to do it alone? I am happy to set up group lessons so that everyone can get in on the fun. Contact me below to plan your trip.
Sunset Sails and Ride-Alongs
Enjoy a sunset sail, perfect for beginners wanting to relax on the water. Glide across the waves with an experienced captain and take in stunning views. This serene adventure is ideal for creating memorable moments on the water.

Adult Sailing Workshops are here!! Learn to sail. No experience needed. This is a great opportunity for beginners to learn, or to brush up on your skills if it's been a while. We will primarily be using a Flying Scot sailboat. Only 4 spaces are available for each workshop, so don't wait to sign up! The cost for each workshop is $30. Sign up for one or for multiple. Practice makes perfect!

Plan to arrive 10 min before the workshop begins as we will start promptly.

Wear a bathing suit or clothes you can swim in. You may be getting wet up to your waist launching the boat, so please plan for that.
